The Field X-ray Unit (FXU) is designed for field examinations of the wounded / injured persons or suspective objects without connecting to the power grid

X-ray generator used in FXU is PXM-20 BT (Poskom, South Korea), one of the most compact and lightweight battery-powered, cordless, portable X-ray units in the medical market today. Utilizing micro technology and a powerful Lithium-Ion Battery, the PXM-BT portables deliver the power up to 3000 mAs without recharging the battery.
No external power source is required for producing of precise radiographic images.
The Lithium-Ion battery is rechargeable and has a very long lifecycle (of over 5 years) without losing power efficiency. This battery is completely free from routine maintenance. Recharging time is approximately 2-3 hours, which is much shorter than conventional batteries.

Notebook or gadget is used in FXU to store and display medical images. All imaging information is stored and represents in DICOM-3 standard for medical imaging. Due to standard form of representation it is possible for FXU to use radiology networks and to make long distance consulting and diagnosing by radiology doctors in real time in the field.


The Pelican 1560NF Case (Pelican Products, Inc., USA) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements.
The 1560 case is NATO-codified and tested to IP-67 (Ingress Protection) and Def Stan 81-41/STANAG 4280 requirements.
